  • Foundation
  • Eye liner
  • Mascara
  • Eye Shadow
  • Lipstick
  • Blusher

Applying foundation can be done with either your hand or a make up sponge, depending on the foundation you use (i.e. liquid or pan stick). To start with put a dab of foundation onyour forehead, nose, chin and on each cheek.

Then you start by rubbing it onto your skin blending it evenly while making sure your don’t leave any visible lines around the outside edges of your face. Don’t forget to do your neck making sure it blends in well.

Eye Liner:

Hold the corners of your eye and with your black eye liner pencil draw a line just on top of your eye lashes. Start from the inside of your eye and slowly working your way to the edge of your eye.

Next pull the bottom of your eye down a little and draw along your eyelid again starting from the inside of your eye.

Eye Shadow:

For an everyday look cover the upper and lower eye lid in a light colour. Next your put a slightly darker shade in the crease of your eye and finally a darker colour on your eye lid next to your lashes.

First step for applying mascara is to use an eyelash curler. Put it as close to your eye as possible and push it together then move it further away and press together again repeating this until all your lashes are done. Doing this prevents you from creating an unnatural drastic curve.

Before you apply your mascara scrape any excess off the brush with the top of the mascara tube so your not wasting any by doing it with a tissue.

Next start applying the mascara on the top eye lash from he out side in. Then give you bottom lash a light coat also.

If you have thick lashes you probably wont need a second coat put if you have thin lashes, wait till the first coat is dry before you apply another.

Use a lip liner similar in colour to your lipstick or gloss and apply it to the outer line of your lips, this prevents the lipstick from bleeding.

If you choose to wear lipstick or gloss and can’t afford to buy to long lasting ones, there is a little trick to follow to help it last longer.

You need to add the lip liner to your lips as well. This gives the lipstick or gloss something  to cling to.

To apply your blusher make a fish face by sucking in your cheeks. Don’t smile and apply as this will cause you to put the blusher higher up than it should be as smiling pulls your cheeks up.

Don’t apply it any closer to the nose than your eye pupils. It is recommended to use a deeper shade closer to the ears if you want to create dept.

Using a medium sized brush apply your power foundation to the apples of your cheeks brushing from in front of your ears to your cheek .

Also for features you want to emphasis use a light colour, however for features you want to play down or draw attention from use a darker shade
