b3 Coffee in the Raw is Now Available for Purchase


We've had so many requests for it, that we've gone ahead and started offering our very own blend of b3 coffee to all.  This is the same coffee that is found in our coffee aficionado supreme, coffee sampler, demi-chest and b3 shave plus gift sets.  Is is our very own exclusive blend of fair trade, organic coffee sourced from Guatemala.  1/2 pound bags of coffee are available in the gift section of products in the b3 store for $8.50.

Two more gift guides surfaced that are recommending our gift sets.  This time the Demi-Chest with introductory size bottles of our products is being touted on  mystyle.com's For Him Holiday Gift Guide as a great gift "for the ladies' man".  

Similarly, Marie Claire is featuring the new Coffee Aficionado Supreme gift set that has full size bottles of our products along with a pound of organic fair trade b3 coffee.  They say it's a great gift for the "coffee obsessed" person in your life, but we have to ask, really, who isn't obsessed with coffee?

b3 Shave Plus Featured in the Huffington Post


The Huffington Post has been releasing some gift guides over the past few days and one of their latest is the Green Gifts for Men guide featuring the b3 Shave Plus men's grooming system.  There are also some other interesting items in the guide including a drink chiller set made of rocks and varieties of flavored almonds, pecans and cashews.  Some of the Huffington Post readers have been ranking the products in the guide and our b3 Shave Plus system is currently ranked #2 behind the rock drink chiller.  If we were to be ranked second to anything, we think that being second to the drink chiller is fine.  After all, while so many of you think that our men's grooming systems is the best they've ever tried, we also understand that there are some days that nothing beats a good stiff drink.

b3 Support "Campaign for Giving" and Grounds for Health


Barista Bath and Body is proud to announce its partnership with Grounds For Health, an international non-profit that has been establishing sustainable women's health care programs in coffee-growing communities since 1996 and its "Campaign for Giving". The "Campaign for Giving" asks women everywhere to show their solidarity with women in the developing world who are often without access to basic health care and screening. Purchasing coffee-based products from Barista Bath and Body sends resources back to these countries, helping women coffee farmers and their families. 

In support of Grounds for Health's "Campaign of Giving", Barista Bath and Body is donating 5% of all net sales during the month of September to Grounds for Health. Net sales will be calculated from sales to retailers including all of their coffee distributors, coffeehouses, spas, salons and baristabathandbody.com e-commerce site (www.b3products.com), as well as sales during Barista Bath and Body's HSN appearance on September 19th. Additionally, Barista Bath and Body will donate 5% of its net sales from orders placed during the upcoming Coffee Fest -- Seattle specialty coffee tradeshow.

Grounds for Health currently runs programs in Mexico, Nicaragua, Tanzania, with invitations from El Salvador, Peru, Colombia, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and many more for future sites. See Us at Cosmprof 2011

       

We're gearing up for this year's premiere event in the Beauty Industry, Cosmoprof, and couldn't be more excited to be in Las Vegas for the show.  We had so much success at last year's show by winning the Discover Beauty Award, we've been invited back again and the timing couldn't be more perfect.

At this year's show, we'll be unveiling to the general public our newest product collection, b3 Shave, the new coffee-inspired, 4-step men's shaving regimen. We can be found in the Discover Beauty Exhibition in Pavilion A of the show at booth number A19312.  As last year's winner, we won't be competing again for the Discover Beauty Award, but we wish all of this year's contestants the best of luck!

We've teamed up with the folks at Grounds for Health for Mother's Day to bring a promotion that will help women around the world.  Grounds for Health is a charity that works with coffee growing communities to establish sustainable cervical cancer prevention programs.  We were so moved by their devotion, ethics and approach to women's health care that we felt we had to get involved.  Despite being one of the easiest forms of cancer to screen for and treat, cervical cancer kills more women in coffee-growing countries than any other form of cancer.  We'd like to reverse that trend and hope you can help.

CEW Products Video

       

As one of the five finalists for the 2011 CEW Indie Beauty Award, we've produced a short introductory video of our products, philosophy and story behind our company.  We think it turned out spectacular and just couldn't resist sharing it with all of you.  The CEW Media Group's YouTube channel was kind enough to put it on display for all to see so we wanted all of you to check it out.

b3 Selected For CEW Indie Award Finalist!


       
We are so excited to announce that barista bath and body has been selected as one of five finalists for the 2011 CEW Indie Beauty Award.

So, you are probably asking yourself, "What is this CEW and what is an Indie Award?"  Well, the CEW is the Cosmetic Executive Women, Inc., a non-profit organization with over 4,000 executives, both women and men, in the beauty, cosmetics, fragrance and related industries. Their mission is to develop the leadership potential of its members through access, connections, networking and the sharing of knowledge and promote the contributions of women in the cosmetics industry.

The CEW Beauty Awards are the beauty industry’s highest honor and recognize the most innovative beauty products of the year, as voted by CEW members, industry professionals & experts in the field of beauty.  The Indie Award finalists and winner is selected from independent companies that are not owned by any large company and have recently introduced products to the industry. The Indie Beauty Award celebrates the creativity, originality and entrepreneurial spirit at a small independent beauty company.

The 2011 winners will be announced on Friday, May 20th at the Beauty Awards Luncheon.
